Commissions

The process is as follows. You provide a range of high definition photos of different views of the subject you want painted or drawn. We agree a composition from a select photo that you really like.

 

A painting would be in oils on a quality linen canvas. I start with an under painting as the key phase to agree on the composition and for you to give me the go ahead. If you are not happy with the composition at this stage there would be no charge.

 

For a graphite or charcoal drawing I would provide the initial phase of the work for approval to proceed.

 

If we agree to go ahead a 30% deposit will be required. I expect the commission work to take 20-50 hours over 4-8 weeks.
