Clive B Roberts    Artist

I am an Australian British painter. I have studied oil painting and drawing techniques at Julian Ashton art academy in Sydney and the London Fine Art Studios. I spend my time between the United Kingdom and France.

 

My creative focus is landscapes and still life studies in oils. I very much enjoy painting plein air, especially while exploring the British and French countryside. I also do some portraiture works in grahite or charcoal.

 

I find individual commission painting and drawing very rewarding, especially when a client is delighted with their finished work.

My artistic influences are wide-ranging and include Joaquin Sorolla, Monet, Van Gogh, Yves Klein, Edward Hopper, John Singer Sargent, Willard Leroy Metcalf, Arthur Streeton and Andrew Wyeth.
